Easy mile is a known company developing autonomous shuttles. Here we collaborated with the engineering department to work on the assigned brief regarding creating a Virtual Scenario to simulate different situations of the EasyMile in an urban scenario.

We were given the 3d model by the engineering team and made it suitable for the Unity environment through Blender. Then in unity we firstly worked on the interactions simulation: opening doors through buttons triggered inside and outside the vehicle. Then we concentrated on making the vehicle move adding also the light communication that the autonomous vehicle has. At the end we created a virtual city scenario, adding also a traffic sistem, and placed the Easy Mile. Here the autonomous vehicle interacts with the other vehicles: gives right to pass, stops at stopping lights, detects people on the road, etc.
Since it is a shuttle we also focused on the bus stop interaction simulating when the shuttle stops and the user interacts with it.
